Moving Forward

For as long as I can remember, I always thought taking a step forward or making a change had to be big and drastic. If I wanted to make a change, I had to do something big, not small, or the change wouldn’t happen.

That kind of mentality always left me feeling disappointed and let down. I was setting myself up for disappointment and failure. There is nothing wrong with having high standards. We should all have high standards and fight for the treatment and life we deserve. But there are better ways to get there that don’t leave you feeling discouraged or defeated!

I love this message from ThinkGrowProsper about taking small steps, even tiptoeing! A lot of little steps add up to big steps over time and as a result aren’t as daunting to make.

“Sometimes the smallest step in the right direction ends up being the biggest step of your life. Tiptoe if you must, but take a step.” -THINKGROWPROSPER
